THE ORIGIN
Optimal Wavelength started with a man losing his.
My stepfather Herwig opened doors for our family that nobody else would. I'm grateful to him in a way that's hard to put in a sentence. He died about seven years ago, from a neurological condition that slowly took the signal apart.
I watched someone steady become someone the world couldn't quite reach anymore. The person was still there. The frequency he ran on had drifted.
That word stuck with me. Wavelength. The idea that a human being has a frequency where they're most themselves, most alive. And that quality of life might be less about fixing what's broken and more about helping someone find their way back to that frequency, for as long as they have it.
I couldn't tune Herwig's frequency back. Nobody could. This work isn't that, and I won't pretend it is.
Here's where it widened.
The same idea that applies to a single nervous system applies to a person who isn't sick at all. To a founder running too hot. To a team out of sync. To a company sprinting in circles.
Every system has a frequency where it runs clean. Push past it and you burn. Fall below it and nothing connects.
Most of the founders I work with aren't broken. They've just drifted off their wavelength. They're running at a frequency that's costing them their evenings and the business they actually wanted to build.
My work is simple to say and hard to do. Help you find the wavelength where you, your team, and your company run at their best. Then help you stay there.
Human first, always. The tools change. The frequency you run at is what decides everything.
Optimal Wavelength is a coaching and consulting practice. It doesn't offer medical, therapeutic, or psychological treatment.
